About Me

Hello. My name is Keith Alder and I run Alder School of Motoring for Driving Lessons in Preston, Lancashire, and the surrounding areas.

I have been a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (D.S.A A.D.I) for more than 30 years now and have successfully helped vast ammounts of people to their goal - a full driving license

Alder School of Motoring is an independently established driving school in Preston providing driving lessons that aim to cater for the learner drivers of Preston and the surrounding areas. Pass Plus registered and "DSA" approved, I aim to provide a friendly, relaxed and proffesional approach.

I also provide Refresher Courses which are generally aimed towards drivers who have passed their test but have not driven for a long period of time. I have specialised courses available to suit your needs.

I live with Elaine my partner of 16 years and of course Bess our black labrador (head of security) whose main aims in life are to bark at postmen and guard the fire in winter!

Elaine and I have five children between us, all have flown the nest and are either happily married or happily living with partners, six beautiful grandchildren and five lovely 'inherited' grandchildren - life is never dull!

I follow Preston North End, enjoy gardening, listening to music and walking the dog. I still thoroughly enjoy my job and look forward to doing so for years to come.
